Elly is a compassionate estate planning attorney that really listens.

The daughter of a retired career U.S. Navy officer, Elly grew up all along the Eastern Seaboard spending time in Virginia, Florida, and Connecticut before landing in Maine for fifth grade. It was here she decided she wanted to be an attorney and help others. Ask her, and she’ll show you her yearbook!

Since 2014, Elly has focused her practice on estate planning, real estate, and veterans’ law. Her favorite part of the work is her clients. She loves getting to know them and helping navigate what can be a genuinely difficult process.

Elly also teaches adult education classes in Saco and Old Orchard Beach on topics including estate planning, probate, asset protection planning, and veterans’ benefits.

When Elly’s not working

Outside the office, you’ll find Elly in a garden, and you never know which one. It could be her own, her parents’, a neighbors’, or even a client’s when she meets them at their home or businesses.

She holds a Certificate in Native Plants and Ecological Horticulture from the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens and has been a Master Gardener Volunteer since 2014. Her primary volunteer role is as a Gardening Angel, helping seniors in the local community with everyday garden activities they can no longer perform on their own.

Elly lives in Portland with her husband and their four fur kids. They are avid supporters and volunteers of the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland and are part of their fostering program.

Elly’s involvement in Veteran’s Affairs

Elly is an Accredited Attorney with the Department of Veterans Affairs, bringing dedicated legal support to those who have served our country.

Her practice includes veterans’ benefits planning and representation, and she regularly teaches community classes on veterans’ benefits, ensuring that service members and their families understand the resources available to them.
