Jacob is a practical professional who makes you look real good.
Jacob was born and raised in Texas but moved to Portland in 2018. He’s enjoyed Maine’s natural beauty and sense of community ever since. Before attending Law School, Jacob had a successful career as a Merchant Mariner where he learned to work with diverse groups of contractors, manage large scale projects, and most importantly foster a positive working environment. With Opticliff Law, Jacob supports the firm’s fast-paced business and startups practices, and works with clients on perfecting their business contracts.
What Jacob does when he’s not working
Jacob loves to camp, hike, and explore the outdoors. When not spending time outdoors, some of his favorite pastimes include enjoying live music, playing board games with friends, and reading a riveting (non-legal) book.
Jacob’s involvement in Maine’s underrepresented legal community
Jacob has previously done volunteer work for the Maine Volunteer Lawyers Project, and hopes to provide support and help Maine’s underrepresented communities in the future.
