Portland-based business law grows along with local startup community
Portland, Maine (March 21, 2018) – – Opticliff Law, a boutique business and trademark law firm, has expanded its team of attorneys and relocated its offices to 123 Free Street in Portland’s Arts District. After launching in 2012, and seeing steady growth in revenue and clientele over the past 6 years, the firm recently promoted attorney Andrew Kraus from associate to partner, and hired affiliated attorneys Adam Nyhan and Thomas Brems as employees.

Andrew Kraus has headed Opticliff Law’s trademark practice, which boasts hundreds of clients from across the US, since 2015. Adam Nyhan is a New York-licensed attorney with over a decade of experience in software and technology law, and was “Of Counsel” to Opticliff Law before being officially hired in February. Thomas Brems, who is also the founder of Victorieux Champagne, was “Of Counsel” to the firm for just a month before being hired to focus his practice on working with importers and exporters of various products, including food and beverage companies.
To expand its footprint beyond the United States, Opticliff Law’s attorneys are making a trade visit to France in April 2018. There they will meet with French businesses and government agencies within several sectors including food and beverage to discuss ways that Opticliff Law can help further trade between France and Maine.
