Thomas is an import & export guru and business attorney who draws on his own experience as an entrepreneur.

Thomas is passionate about business, trademark, food & beverage, and import & export law. Adjunct professor of import & export law at The University of Maine School of Law (Fall 2018), and owner of Victorieux Champagne importation company and brand, Thomas has hands-on experience and knowledge in his practice areas of interest.

Familiarity with State regulators, industry leaders, and cultural practices of the New England alcohol industry provides Thomas a competitive edge in facilitating our clients’ alcohol sales compliance needs.

Thomas is comfortable with international issues in law and business, and can comfortably communicate in French.

What Thomas does when he’s not working

Thomas is an avid gym-rat. When not working, he is exercising or hiking local trails, enjoying Maine’s famous New England IPAs, traveling to source new champagne producers, and serving as a mentor with the Mentor Alliance at Portland High School.

Thomas’ involvement in Maine’s entrepreneurial community

Thomas is also a volunteer mentor at Top Gun and Cultivator, the Maine Center for Entrepreneurs’ accelerator programs for growing companies. Thomas serves as a guest presenter for professors at The University of Maine School of Law and The University of Southern Maine’s Maine Regulatory Training and Ethics Center (MeRTEC) in relation to alcohol importation, imports & exports generally, and regulatory compliance. Thomas provides pro bono legal counsel to numerous entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship organizations.
